Online physiotherapy for neck pain

Neck pain is closely linked to how you sit, how you work, and how you hold your head throughout the day. Online physiotherapy has a unique advantage here: your physiotherapist sees your actual work environment and can correct the habits causing your pain. Sessions available in English, Telugu, and Hindi.

Why online physiotherapy works for neck pain and cervical spondylosis

Your physiotherapist sees your actual desk, chair, monitor height, and phone usage habits, and corrects them in real time

Neck exercises require careful form to be effective and safe. Live video guidance ensures you do them correctly.

Most neck pain is driven by daily posture habits. Treating you where those habits happen gives better results.

Regular short sessions (rather than weekly clinic visits) help break the cycle of poor posture faster

What we assess via video

Neck range of motion in all directions
Posture: head position, shoulder alignment, upper back curve
Workstation ergonomics: screen height, chair position, typing posture
Shoulder and upper back mobility
Neurological screening for arm pain, tingling, or weakness
Jaw and headache patterns when relevant

What treatment includes

Targeted neck strengthening exercises
Upper back and shoulder mobility work
Posture correction and awareness training
Ergonomic modifications for your specific workspace
Stress and tension management techniques
Progressive exercise program adjusted each session

How an online session works

1

Set up your space

Position your phone or laptop so your physiotherapist can see you move. You need about 2 metres of space.

2

Live assessment and treatment

Your physiotherapist watches your movement, corrects your form, and guides you through exercises in real time. Each session is 45 minutes to 1 hour.

3

Progress and adjust

Your physiotherapist tracks your improvement each session and adjusts exercises as you get stronger. You also receive exercises to practice between sessions.

When in-person care is better

If you experience sudden severe neck pain after trauma, progressive weakness in your arms or hands, or difficulty with coordination or walking, see a doctor immediately. For most chronic neck pain and cervical spondylosis, online physiotherapy is effective.

Frequently asked questions

Can cervical spondylosis be treated online?
Yes. Cervical spondylosis treatment is primarily exercise-based: strengthening the deep neck muscles, improving upper back mobility, and correcting posture. Your physiotherapist guides all of this via video and can observe your posture and movement patterns clearly on screen.
My neck pain is from working at a desk all day. Can online PT help?
This is where online physiotherapy has a distinct advantage. Your physiotherapist sees your actual desk setup during the session and can make specific corrections: adjusting your monitor height, chair position, and screen distance. They also prescribe exercises you can do at your desk throughout the day.
Will I need to do exercises between sessions?
Yes. Your physiotherapist will prescribe a short daily exercise routine (typically 15 to 20 minutes) to maintain the gains from each session. Consistency between sessions is important, especially for posture-related neck pain. Your physiotherapist checks your technique and progress each session.
