Online physiotherapy for back pain

Back pain treatment is primarily exercise-based, making it one of the most effective conditions to treat online. Your physiotherapist observes your movement, posture, and daily habits via video and builds a recovery plan around what they see. Sessions available in English, Telugu, and Hindi.

Why online physiotherapy works for back pain and sciatica

Back pain treatment relies on exercises, posture correction, and movement retraining, all of which your physiotherapist can guide and correct via video

Your physiotherapist sees your actual home and work environment: the chair you sit in, the desk you work at, the way you lift things. They can correct habits that matter in your daily life.

Daily sessions are easier to maintain when you do not have to travel, and consistency is critical for back pain recovery

You can show your physiotherapist exactly which movements cause pain, in the setting where they happen

What we assess via video

Range of motion and movement quality
Posture during standing, sitting, and bending
Pain patterns: what triggers it, what relieves it
Daily activities: work setup, sleeping position, lifting habits
Neurological screening for sciatica and disc problems: reflexes, sensation, leg weakness

What treatment includes

Targeted strengthening exercises for your core and back
Flexibility and mobility work
Posture correction and ergonomic guidance
Movement retraining for daily activities
Pain management strategies
Progressive exercise program adjusted each session

How an online session works

2

Live assessment and treatment

Your physiotherapist watches your movement, corrects your form, and guides you through exercises in real time. Each session is 45 minutes to 1 hour.

When in-person care is better

If you have severe neurological symptoms such as loss of bladder or bowel control, sudden onset of weakness in both legs, or are unable to move at all, seek immediate medical attention. For most other back pain, online physiotherapy is effective and appropriate.

Frequently asked questions

Can sciatica be treated with online physiotherapy?
Yes. Sciatica treatment is exercise-based: nerve glides, core strengthening, and postural correction. Your physiotherapist watches your movement via video, ensures correct form, and progresses exercises as your symptoms improve. Most sciatica patients respond well to structured exercise programs delivered online.
How does my physiotherapist assess my back pain through a screen?
Your physiotherapist will ask you to perform specific movements: bending forward, backward, sideways, and twisting. They observe your range of motion, movement quality, and pain response. They also assess your posture, work setup, and daily movement patterns. For suspected nerve involvement, they guide you through neurological screening tests you can do at home.
How many sessions do I need for back pain?
Our Spine & Joint package includes 14 daily sessions. Most patients see significant improvement within this period. For chronic or complex back pain, extensions are available at the same per-session rate. Your physiotherapist tracks measurable progress each session.
Can I do online physiotherapy for a slip disc?
In most cases, yes. The majority of disc problems respond well to exercise-based treatment: specific extension exercises, core stabilization, and graduated movement. Your physiotherapist will assess whether your condition is appropriate for online treatment during the first session.
